My husband and I moved to Alton, IA, after college where I have since fallen in love with the life we've created here. With fresh eyes being new to rural living, I'm continuously struck by the beauty of downtown businesses and local staples with so much history. From that appreciation came the idea for my

Local Treasures project.

I can paint any small business in the northwest Iowa area on a 16x20 inch canvas .
