THE ARTIST
Mikaela Mackey has sought out creative avenues all her life, from sketching, to stained-glass work, to painting in various mediums. What began as a hobby and outlet in her paintings has turned into a successful small business.
Mikaela immigrated from Edmonton, AB, Canada to Orange City, IA, USA after graduating from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Communications in 2023.
She now works full-time at world-renowned
Bogenrief Studios in Sutherland, IA. as a stained-glass artist alongside her own business start-up.
From acrylic paintings in abstract work to still-life, as well as her watercolor flower series, Mikaela is thrilled to share her eye for bright and bold colors in every one of her pieces.
